Stupid Is as Stupid Does
I've never really been able to wrap my little brain around that phrase, but I think I got a lot closer to it today. Last Tuesday I locked my keys in my car right before my lecture. I had to call a locksmith to the tune of $125 (somewhere around 55 pounds) to come and get them out for me. It threw my whole homework schedule off and I'm still trying to catch up. Not to mention, my mom was not happy about me wasting so much money on such a stupid thing (nor was I for that matter). Well, again today, my most brilliant self locked them in the car for the second time in 10 days. Another locksmith had to be called of course, although it was only a fraction of what it had been last week, because at least I had enough sense to do it during normal business hours this time. Unfortunately the power of prayer doesn't seem to work on getting keys out of a locked car. I suppose was no miracle of the lost keys in the Bible. I think I'll hold off on telling Mom about this one due to her previous reaction. Shhhh.... On the agenda for tomorrow, going to get another car key made, or maybe 10.
